The significant ICANN83 Policy Forum took place in Prague, becoming a key event for the global internet community. This conference brought together leading figures from the field of internet governance, including heads of domain registries, network administrators, and internet service providers, to discuss and define topics influencing the future of the internet.

Discussions focused on key aspects of the functioning and development of the internet, including the technical coordination of global internet infrastructure, new trends in DNS, universal acceptance of domain names and email addresses, combating DNS abuse, and planning the next steps of the new generic top-level domains program (New gTLD Program).

The conference also paid great attention to the accessibility of information about domain holders (Whois) and the protection of personal data in accordance with GDPR. The hybrid format of the event enabled wide participation from experienced professionals as well as new faces in the internet community, thus supporting an open and inclusive discussion on the key issues of the internet's future.

The ICANN83 Policy Forum in Prague reaffirmed the Czech Republic's role as a significant center for discussions on the future of the global internet and its governance, and we, as participants, actively engaged in the proceedings to monitor developments that may impact our customers in the coming years.
